Rev. Mosengo Jose Ndombe, Jr., Associate Minister

Mosengo Jose Ndombe, Jr. was born in Raleigh, NC. He was raised in
Knightdale, NC for most of his life. He is the oldest son of Deacon
Mosengo Jose Ndombe, Sr. and Deaconess Jacqueline Winstead
Ndombe. He has an older sister, Jackie Lewis-Gorham, who is married
to Doug Gorham. and a nephew, Kalvon, all living in Rocky Mount, NC.
Mosengo also has a younger sister, Patricia Lauren Ndombe and a
younger brother Mosengo Michael Ndombe, both living in Knightdale,
NC.
He graduated from East Wake High School in Wendell, NC. He also
graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Religious Studies.
His plans are to further his education in pursuing a Master of Divinity at
Shaw University Divinity School.
Mosengo loves to serve God and fellowship with his brothers and sister
at Oak City Baptist Church. He was Assistant Sunday School
Superintendent. He currently serves in the Ushers’, Young Adult and
Youth Ministries. He loves reading the Bible, enjoy traveling, playing
basketball, and spending time with his family.
During the fall semester of his senior year at UNC-Chapel Hill, Mosengo
felt a strong passion of joining God’s ministry. Upon praying and
receiving godly advice from Pastor Newkirk, his parents and his siblings,
Mosengo decided to join God’s ministry. While still being in the ministry,
his future goals are to become a civil rights activist, lawyer and
politician.
There are many Bible verses that Mosengo loves to read, but his
favorite one is 1 Samuel 12:24 that reads, “Only fear the Lord, and
serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He
Has done for You”
In summation, Mosengo Jose Ndombe, Jr. wants everyone to know that
HE IS GOD’S SERVANT.
